Our Mission
We at “Who 1” believe that winning one day at a time is the best way to fight addiction along with participating in a 12-step program designed to assist with your addictive behaviors, whether it is to alcohol, drugs, gambling, tobacco, caffeine, unhealthy foods, unhealthy eating, unhealthy relationships, etc.
To eliminate addictive behaviors, joining a 12-step program in your area, cultivating your faith in your Higher Power, and saying the Serenity Prayer, located on the back of all our 24-hour coins, has been found to work. Carrying this coin will help you remember to take things just one day at a time, to say the prayer on the back of the coin, and above all, to have faith!
What We Do
“Who 1” began raising funds to place educational books on stopping alcohol and drug addictions in Cook County Jail in Chicago, Illinois in 2015. We are also, as of January 2022, going into the Will County Jail in Joliet too. Proceeds from your purchase of this 24- hour coin helps ensure that books on eliminating alcohol/drug abuse and addiction are placed in a correctional facility in Illinois for use by any individual who needs and desires one.
